This famous serigraph by Leonid Sokov is one of the most celebrated images of the Sotsart movement. It's a mixed media serigraph on cardboard with kinetic parts (arm of the Bear moves up and down.)

This work is signed in Latin and dated 1989-1990 l.r. and inscribed A.P.

In 2007, the work from the same series (AP II) sold at Sotheby's for 18.500GBP ($30.000.) One of the last works in the series in offered exclusively by Russia! Online Store.

Leonid Sokov is one of the most celebrated Russian artists of the Second Avant-Garde wave and one of the founders of the Sots Art movement. He represented Russia at the 2001 Venice Biennale; his works are in the collections of MoMA, Guggenheim, Tretyakov Gallery and other museums around the world.
