The Blue Noses are known for their satirical and provocative videos, photographs and performances which parody and critique Russia's past and its present day capitalist boom. These designs are from their "Kitchen Suprematism" series (M&J Guelman Gallery, 2006), in which several iconic Constructivist paintings from the early 20th century are irreverently reimagined using staples from the Russian table.
The Blue Noses' best known—and most controversial—work is the "Age of Clemency" (also known as "Kissing Policemen, that nearly cost the Minister of Culture his job in 2007).
