One of Russia’s largest chains, Lenta, has become embroiled in a conflict that seems straight out of the end of the last century: Its office was seized by a raiding party. But while in the 1990s responsibility for such attacks lay with Russian entrepreneurs, today these methods are being copied by major foreign firms that are fully versed in the ways of the local market.
