Americans Can't Return and Exchange Unwanted Russian Children

In a blow to the US Consumer Protection Act, which allows buyers to exchange and return unwanted merchandise, Russia suspended adoptions of Russian children by Americans.

This ban, effective immediately, is a response to the case of the 7-year old boy, who has been adopted by an American family and then sent alone back to Russia. [New York Times]
